Urge the Council to reduce the proposed 55% increase to burial costs in Birmingham from April 2019

Oye, City Council!! You make life expensive enough as it is, don't make death expensive too. Fu***ing leeches.

To whom it may concern There is no need to increase the cost for death of a burial by 55% this is to much for a person to pay at a time when a family is going through bereavement, i would like to suggest the cost of the burial should remain as it is currently. Thank you for your time. Abdur Rashid

It also should consider reducing costs for Sandwell residents living on the boarder of camp lane who bury their loved ones at Handsworth Cemetery

City council introducing clean air zone , but can’t collect dustbins . Now want to charge the dead person. Council tax already up . Violent car theft up , less police around . Roads are a mess , traffic is chaos . Birmingham going downhill!

Cost of burial is already too much. People can't afford to die.

It’s wrong council is just looking to way to make money of people as they have cuts and look elsewhere to take of people like they don’t get enough out of us anyway it’s totally wrong

Stop being greeedy

Many working people will struggle to pay for the cost of a burial at this extremely high rate. It will be a distressing and distraught time for any family and to couple it with a extremely high cost will not help the family of the deceased. Please be more considerate.

Popostrous money making idea thought up without any morals showing a complete lack of compassion to bereaved families. This affects everyone in Birmingham. Just another push by the rightes to promote cremations and move away from believing in the law of God whether christianity, Islam or judaism. Idea needs to be thrown out.

This is extenuate amount of money for a burial I can understand an increase of a couple percentage but almost double is rather questionable
