Urge the Council to reduce the proposed 55% increase to burial costs in Birmingham from April 2019

Unacceptable increase has the council done an equality impact assessment on the Muslim community of a 55% increase in burial costs compared to other communities who may not bury their loved ones....

This is not far for low income familys

we disagree with this unjustified increase.

The cost is already high and the prossed cost is extremely to high as we have several struggling families living in Birmingham

Such a huge increase, this will pose such distress on the mourning family. I really do hope that the Birmingham City Council rethink this proposal and think of the families that will suffer.

Full accounts of cemetery running costs under freedom of information should be given to see if their costs are being covered or are they making profit and will make further profits by the increases ,
