Urge the Council to reduce the proposed 55% increase to burial costs in Birmingham from April 2019

Increasing the cost by 55% is ridiculous and totally unfair.

The BCC have stooped to a all time low with increases of cost and cutbacks of services.

Most people are already struggling and by increasing the cost of the funerals, well have extreme impact on their health and well being .

This is disgusting some families can't even afford the prices already,tax on the deceased !!!!!!!!

It is disgusting that the price is increasing so much for dead people to be buried. It is all a money making thing, the rich don't care about the lives of the lower class who are struggling daily to survive.

Seems like Birmingham Council leaders need to be sacked through NO CONFIDENCE VOTE OR A REFERENDUM. They have wasted millions of pounds, on bin collection matter last year and this year, only because they are just incapable and impotent. They shouldn't make excuses of cuts whereas, they have already increased council tax at more than ongoing inflation rates. They should come to their senses. As burial for deceased is a religious obligation for Muslims and 55% increase in one go is outrageous, and cruelty and discriminative.

I find this disgusting how much burial charges will be increased by. It's bad enough losing a loved one and then the financial tension on top is the last thing you need. Think about the people who can't afford any other resort but to bury their loved one here and can't afford it.

This is outrageous and disgusting, the leader of the council and anyone supporting this decision should be ashamed of themselves. There is indirect discrimination in this practice and it’s unacceptable.

Absolutely disgraceful, morally wrong and can not be just justified. council can waste millions on a bin strike but hit families at there lowest point with this
