Urge the Council to reduce the proposed 55% increase to burial costs in Birmingham from April 2019

There is enough taxes. Why tax the dead also?

This increase is unjustified, burial costs are at an all time high, and we are not getting the services for the extortionate amount being proposed. How can you justify that amount for just digging a grave?

I can't believe the price keeps on going up and up. Also Birmingham is very expensive compared to other cities in the midlands.

The BCC are voraciously raking in money via various schemes. They can’t charge us directly via council tax so they’re stealth taxing us indirectly. This is THE MOST DISGUSTING of all.

Please keep burial affordable as many people in Birmingham are poor
