There was an absolute failure in communication,
which continues even at the time of this petition 24+ hours later. As a parent of an Eagle, it is unacceptable to have such a lack of information about the safety of my child and other students on the ERAU campus. There was a complete lack of compassion or concern from faculty towards students about attending classes during such a void of information with the expectation that no news means they are safe.
The safety of ERAU students and faculty is paramount. Your silence and breakdown in communication signals incompetence and a fundamental lack in preparedness.
Address this ASAP or at least correct my potential ignorance in my understanding of your level of readiness for such a situation.

As a parent of an Eagle I am deeply concerned by how the situation was handled and the lack communication after the incident. Students deserve answers and deserve to feel safe on campus.

School being on lockdown and many students were up until they knew it was safe and even at 2am, who could sleep knowing ERAU could have been a statistic. The responsible thing would have been to cancel classes and allow the administration along with the staff to meet to discuss. Allow the students to decompress!
And then today confusion again. Clarification statement needs to be presented to the student parents and the community! And invest in some caller id call tracing capabilities!!

Parents DESERVE to know the truth about what happened on February 17 and 18 with the threats and the way that the school handled the situation.
