Keep Urban Dance City Open @ Madeira Hall in Mitcham

Please save the much needed space for the local community.

My son go's here for his dance class and would really be a shame if it closes down.

Keep dance studio open!

Children needs an outlet to build self-esteem and confidance within themselves. To keep them out of trouble is to have recreation facilities available to broaden their orizon, in order to create a positive setting in both their primary and secondary environment. This place should be kept open to give children somewhere to attend... More outlets should be available for children...

We have to keep UDC there! Too many things are being lost for the community. It's the children, the future that always suffer.

This is important to the children of the area

Keep the dance group going

Physical activities are what people need today. How often do we hear politicians telling us that children spend to much time watching a screen? Don't take away something g that is good for them in so many ways

Don’t take away the only thing these kids love doing. Activities are becoming more reduced for children and this is causing all the mental health and kids to go off the rails.

Keep UDC open

This is a very good dance class for young people. It would be devastating for the children and families that use this venue to not have access anymore.

Please allow urban dance city to continue to keep using Madeira hall My daughter really enjoys coming each week and her confidence has really grown since attending this class

This group is very important for our kids ,grandkids. Everything is being taken away from the kids and we wandered why the kids are into gangs and crime, nothing for them. Youth clubs,social clubs, somewhere for them to go all gone,now your wants to take this one group that is inspiring so much kids why???We need the hall for them.

Please reconsider the decision to close Madeira Hall. There is not much for children to do in the area, and Urban Dance City has not only filled that gap for them, but has greatly contributed towards building a local dance community that oir children are proud to belong too. UDC has provided opportunities to showcase local talent through the various public performances that UDC dancers perform at. UDC has also cemented the adult dance community by offering dance classes for adults, that encourage a healthy lifestyle, as well as multicultural community cohesion. I hope the petition is successful.

Please leave the dance school Madeira Hall, Canons Leisure Centre, Mitcham Urban Dance City.

Like the Urban dance group, Canons Karate Club has been at the Centre for bearly 40 years, and in the Madeira Hall since 2007. The Hall is a real community hub for the local area and it would be a tremendous loss to if this space was taken away.

This place does soo much for young people, male & female, mentally and physically. At a time when there are no youth centres or places for young people to learn, grow, make friends and express themselves. Now places like UDC are needed more than ever. Please keep Urban Dance City going
