Just recently Jim the Guitarist from the upper room posted this on their forums. Hi everyone, I\'m in Cyprus at the moment with my other half and big brothers droning away in the background. My bet\'s on Nikky to go back in! Just been flicking through the forum for the first time in a while and kinda realised we\'ve been neglecting you all a bit! We\'ve had some great times recently playing all the summer festivals, so thanks to everyone who turned up to see us. Best thing for me was probably Barcelona, it was a great trip for us and also great to look out and see so many Spanish people singing along, something must be going right abroad! As for the new single..... Basically radio 1 won\'t play anything of ours off the album. We plugged Kill Kill Kill and Never Come Back and they wont touch them so it\'s left us in a bit of a quandary! (I guess they\'d rather stick with the Feeling and Orson).... so anyway we\'ve written a brand new track called \"Bad News\". It\'s quite a diversion from our usual stuff and we\'re hoping you guys will get it. If not don\'t worry; there\'ll be plenty of stuff coming along in the months to come. Try checking out some of the B-sides on iTunes if you haven\'t already (shameless plug!!). Basically after the V festivals we should be back out touring again, so get your arses down to the gigs and we\'ll all go out and get ratted!! Keep the peace on these forums guys we love you all.. Cheers guys, Jim x Now the stuff about being on holiday and Big Brother doesn\'t really matter but the fact that Radio 1 are refusing to play any of their singles I find is awful. Who are they to choose what people can listen to on there way to work, at work, at home or anywhere else that there\'s a radio for that matter yes they may be one of the most popular radio stations around but denying bands any airplay what so ever is downright wrong, and the fact that the band feel they have to write a song persificaly to cater for Radio one is even worse.
