There is and can only be 2 genders. Female and Male anything else is a lie.

You can't change biological science when it comes to gender. Your a gurl or a boy that's it..no matter how many surgeries or hormones you have or take you can never change it.. to cut off body parts is the most obsurd thing ever.

Sex should only be defined by biology and not fantasy. There are many nefarious people aiming to destabilize our genders, as well erase protections and recognition for all our women, girls and daughters. Most of these people are perverts, narcissists and pedophiles. For the sake of our families and the lives of the common folk, please restore sense to these madness.

God created MAN and WOMAN.

I believe that we are born male or female just as it has always been when God created ADAM and Eve!

Irregardless of how one 'feels' like relating to gender, nature has provided the truth of your make-up. You may feel like another gender, but when the clothing comes off, nature, unless altered by medical procedure, proves the identity.

Thank you to the professionals that have penned this important petition. Perhaps one of the more disturbing issues happening today is the fact that that the ratio of females presenting with gender dysphoria has now far surpassed males for the first time in history. The understanding of why this is happening and how to help these young women will take time but it is clear the current political, cultural, and social pathways for these natal females are quite different than the historical pathways of historical natal males. This again points to the biological dichotomy of the sexes and the importance of looking at this very crisis in a different perspective.

Enough is enough. Political correctness is out of hand.

Get back to the basic truth.... there are two genders Male and female.

Some commenters still confuse sex and gender even though the text in the petition is clear. And it is not only right wing Christians who are on board with this petition, I'm a feminist and an atheist, and it pains me that i am more aligned with conservatives on this issue than with a lot of people on the left. Even though I find it quite amusing to read right wing Christians suddenly be pro -science!

I strongly agree with this petition! Each infant that I deliver is either male or female, identified by the genitalia with which he or she is born. Ambiguous genitalia and phenotypic mismatch from sex chromosomes is exceedingly rare. Identifying as a gender other than the one that correlated with sex is a medical condition that should be treated and should not be used as a way for men or women to access the areas of life associated with the opposite sex (bathrooms, locker rooms, sports, etc).
