This proposed development is stuck right between two low-density neighborhoods. Given the fact that the County Staff recognizes the adverse effect on adjacent neighborhoods and the fact that several huge nearby RSL developments are currently under construction, I hope the Planning Commissioners and County Commissioners will reject this proposed rezoning. If West Cobb is to be an enjoyable place to live, we need to stick to cohesive zoning plans that make sense rather than piecemeal rezoning and construction at the whim of overzealous developers.

I am a West Cobb senior citizen who opposes more senior facilities in the Dallas Hwy/West Cobb area because we already have several on Whitlock Avenue, Barrett, and Dallas Hwy. please bring us good shopping, restaurants and a movie theater instead. We are over saturated with senior living!!

Adjacent homeowners have rights, too. When purchasing a home in Cobb County, homeowners should have the expectation that the Land Use Plan and County Code are followed. Otherwise, no homeowner is safe and the value of one's property is at the discretion of County government.

This should not be approved based on the current zoning, staff recommendation of the proposal and the many community members / voters who are against this.
I agree with having more senior living in the area but this needs to be done correctly.

There are too many residents in the area now and the traffic on Barrett parkway is getting worse every day.
