With the forthcoming closure of hmrc and relocation of staff to Glasgow, this is badly needed as well as improved park n ride

I'm signing because I use the train weekly for work, have lost count the amount of times I have to stand because there aren't enough coaches on, It is an accident waiting to happen. There are also numerous problems with being late or cancelled, it is a nightmare and not very reliable. The trains also need upgraded, have saw plently of nice, modern ones, just not unfortunately the EK ones!!

I have been using East Kilbride line for 16 years. Cost has doubled however we are still using the same trains.

A direct line is needed from East Kilbride stopping at Hairmyers to central

It's long overdure. East K ride is now classed as a large town and still growing!!! Car parking would also need to be upgraded

Upgrade of this railway line is long overdue. The size of East Kilbride population is expanding and the public transport needs to keep pace with this.

It is a disgrace that this town is served by a single track .Overcrowding is at an unacceptable level

Not only should it be electrified but should be extended to the centre, Lindsayfield and on to Strathaven.

It is a hassle the fact that if your running late especially after 9am that theres one every half an hour. I used to live somewhere more remote than this growing area and even though it was an hours walk to the station atleast it was every 10 minutes. Unlike here. Even the morning is hell where even with the extentions its still hell and packed to buggery. Also i have never known a service to stop at 17/18 past 11. The majority of services i have been on have always stopped nearer midnight or after.

It's always a nightmare by the time the train hits Glasgow. Normally it's so bad they just leave the gates open

I agree, a single track line is no use in this day and age and with all the additional housing developments it's going to get worse. Park and ride facilities need expanding too.

It's about time a town the size of East Kilbride had a decent rail link not only to Glasgow but to Hamilton and other towns in Lanarkshire all the way to Edinburgh
