I honestly never thought this would gain any traction at all but checking my notifications has become my entire personality lately. It feels like people actually agree that being stranded on outdated software is just not right even if my tablet is currently collecting dust in a drawer somewhere.

I fell in live with my Thrive from the beginning. I find it very unprofessional that you ate not continuing to support a tablet that surpassed iPads for available features. I now own a paperweught that cost nearly $600 as it will no longer run several of my favorite programs & games because the software (Android, etc.) is not up to date.
love my Thrive capabilities just wish it was up to date so I could use the latest apps. Would be nice if the keyboard would keep up with me as well.
We own two toshiba thrive tablets. Since Toshiba will not update to a more modern version of android I was forced to buy a new tablet from their competitor. Will not buy Toshiba products in the future nor reccamend them as they cannot appear to stand behind a product.
I purchased my thrive because i bought my first laptop in 2005 from toshiba and i still use it till this day! i liked the functionality of the thrive but im confused as to why you have not honored your end of the bargain to thrive owners and create the updates needed to keep our purchases updated. We have no recourse, we had no warning, and now we dont even get a response as to why you arent providing updates! If no updates why not let us swap the thrive for an excite? we are loyal, but loyalty runs out eventually.
I also am disappointed in Toshiba for not updating their products. These were great tablets, but we cannot get the use of them we should as they are now incompatible with many newer apps as they are on an outdated system. As much as I loved my Thrive tablet, I would be hard pressed to purchase another from Toshiba. I do not want an Apple product, but I will go with a tablet from a company that does update its products when the new Android OS versions come out. Android is still a great product, just not coupled with Toshiba.
Please update. Beautiful tab it, just needs the update. I love my Toshiba 10.1 tablet
I will never purchase a Toshiba product again. Lack of updates leaves you with an expensive piece of junk. I currently own 5 Toshiba computers/tablets. Done!

This tablet still has some nice stats and features even by todays standards, an update would put it back in business.
