Completely agree. The locality adjustment per the FederalPay.org payscale chart reflects an adjustment in locality rate in 2023 of 24.14% from the 16.5% that we have here in Orlando, very unfair considering the cost of living in this area that is very comparable to that of Miami.

An increase in locality pay is needed to keep up with the rising costs and inflation.

I am a VA SUD MH provider in the fast growing Space Coast Viera CBOC for the Orlando VA. The cost of living here is going up exponentially with no relief in site. Being compensated for what we do would be appreciated. We lead the nation in our response to Patient Care during COVID not to mention the impact that the Hurricanes have had on Veterans ability to cope with stressful situations. Your consideration is appreciated

I took a $20,000 pay cut to move from Phoenix, AZ. to Orlando, FL due to family needs. Unfortunately, housing cost, and transportation costs are higher in Orlando than in Phoenix.

Agree locality pay is not in concert with the reality of living and working in the Orlando area. Thank you for your consideration.

Unable to buy a house, due to high prices and with a low salary. Please give us the salary that we deserve on the job that we do, caring our beloved Veterans.

WE love serving our Veterans, please consider the city of Orlando has only gotten more expensive to live in over the last 5 years.
