Every nurse in the Orlando region, including new graduates, have received significant raises due to increasing cost of living and higher workloads / volumes of patients in central Florida hospitals. However, the VA has not increased our salaries to match the market.

Tampa VA is on the same locality pay as Orlando VA and they get paid more as M.T,'s than us at Orlando and also, they are graded GS-10 and in Orlando we are GS-09. Why the discrimination in pay when we do the same work and we have the same position description?

We RNs worked on the frontline risking ourselves and our families during this pandemic. Moreover with the current inflation and Orlando’s high living expenses, we deserve locality pay just like Vierra gets. Thank you

There is absolutely no reason why the localities are not keeping up with inflation Orlando is not a cheap place to live no matter what part of the city you live in this needs to change

I think would be fair for us to have that locality raise, here is been very hard to live with our actual salary, here everything is so expensive we pay tourist prices.
