Proper infrastructure is critical to our projected population growth in the coming decades. Current property owners who have already invested in the area (homes & businesses) deserve consideration when their government leaders are planning for this future growth and NOT just making a quick buck from these developers who are not invested nor live in our community.

All Laurel Park wants is the new tax base and they do not care how this effects nearby neighbors or the Hendersonville sewer system. It must stop now

We also need highway 64 to be widened to 3 lanes before any more buildings are built a in that area.

Infrastructure by definition includes SEWAGE! The Arcadia Views project should not have gotten past the public hearing held at the First Congregational Church in Laurel Park. All of these issues were addressed by residents with experience either designing, implementing or constructing like systems. If they question the ability of the sewage interceptor to handle the additional flow, maybe someone should listen. I respectfully request that the NC DEQ reject the application for Arcadia Views connection. Hendersonville wastewater can not handle what is already connected to its system.
