This is ridiculous! I paid for my child to go to college and my reward was to be hearing her name called as she walked across the stage. It is a right of passage!!

Walking across that stage is what I have been dreaming of since high school. sitting in the football stadium with hundreds of people I don't know, people I didnt spend every waking moment with for 4 years....just thinking about that honestly makes me consider not going back to UNT. walking across the stage is that final moment in your college life, the moment telling you congratulations for working your butt off, you did it..you finished. Please don't change the tradition. it's something we are all working so very hard for to experience.

I graduated from NTSU in 1973 and walked across the stage after working my way through. The costs today are much higher and each kid deserves to cross that stage to show they have put in the money, energy, and determination to graduate. Change this now!

My biggest dream since graduating high school has been to walk the stage at a university. My parents have been waiting to cheer for my hard work. I LIVE for that moment to come. Don't take it away!

In order to save money you are taking away a right of passage. You will potentially have people not attend UNT because of this poor decision.

I've worked so hard to graduate. To not be able to walk across the stage for graduation is almost insulting. I spent 4 years at this university. The least I could get is the two hours it takes for my college to be called. College of Arts and Sciences is one of the biggest and the last one I attended took 2 hours top.

we deserve to walk the stage. Traditional graduation is the way to go we deserve to be recognized with the peers we worked so hard with to complete our degree. Family and friends will agree. Do not do this to us.

I was told by our government program that this was to save money for a well known speaker. Who cares about a speaker we worked hard and should be recognized.
