Unsafe, Mold infested, old housing to be demolished

I also live in Stryker Village! I also called maintaince a few time since we move here! The shower in my bedroom has mold that's very noticeable and when they came to "fix it" all they did is scrap some what off and then recovered the rest of the mold which is re-surfing, and then there's the main bathroom. When they came by the maintaince guy that came was very rude, I told him the toilet and tub is plugged up! When I flushed the toilet he looked at me and was rude about it!! Not even a few hours later it was clogged up again, so now no one uses that bathroom! There's also a hole undery back door frame where we seen a spider run to

I live in Stryker Villiage. My family and I have only been here since the beginning of September of 2013. Since being here I've called maintenance several times for mold in my bathroom (painted over on the ceiling, yellow gold mold and black mold around my window). There's mold in my dishwasher and I haven't bothered using it because no matter how many times I have tried cleaning it it just won't go away. I have the tile floors as well and I clean it at least three times a day. I have two children, one who is crawling, so imagine the worry I have about the cleanliness of my floor. PLUS It is not child safe to have these floors. My three year old (granted this was an accident but even still!) fell off the bed in the middle of the night not once but at least 6 times, twice she got a nice goose egg. After the two bumps I now have an exercise mat on the side of the bed to prevent any injuries. The housing here needs to be redone. As much as housing is making off of our BAH they can afford to update these homes. It's ridiculous!! Even people who do not have health issues can develop them living here, and being told to just get over it or move off post is not acceptable!!!

These houses need to be redone

we get 1400 in bah and stay in the same housing as someone who pays 900 in bah... and alot of the housing isnt very adequit to what we have to pay for

We lived with mold, leaky hvac, and several other safety issues for 3 years. It needs to be fixed.

Let's take care of housing for our US Citizens,

this housing is just too old. plain and simple. if I worked with housing I wouldn't even want to offer the homes to people, let alone live in them myself. we are still on post because the atmosphere and benefits to being here are great. just wish the house gave me that same great feeling!

Things definitely need upgraded and fixed. Pretty sure we have mold issues as well as windows that don't open and close very well.

These houses are infested with mold, and need to be weatherized. My house also has structural issues with the foundation (causing cracks in my wall outside as well as in).

Mold, disgusting floors, broken bad shelving, windows that they cannot open, and more. so bad.

These houses are not worth what we pay! The windows and doors let all the cold air out in the summer and in during winter.

mold, windows don't open, dingy floors, stoves, spiders, outlets & light switches spark, heat and air conditioning barely work, poor instalation, terrible wiring and more safety hazards

We live in Werner park , my cabinets break, my screen has ripped off just by the wind blowing, I have yellow gold mold on my bathroom and kitchen walls as well as my front door, my bathroom grout in so black and gross I can't keep it clean or even get it clean, my floors are those hospital floors white hard glass tile everywhere in my house, I have fence that is so old it's rotting away, also my floors are so old that no matter what I use bleach, ammonia I can't get them to look clean (and I clean everyday) , I moved in with no grass at all in my backyard, my paint on my walls just bubble up and then start peeling, I have black mold in my bathrooms but it's been painted over so you can't clean it, my title in my kitchen is coming up and there is black mold under it. I'm sorry but for 1600 in bah that we pay we should live in housing like the officers do, or the new housing, everythig in my house is from like the early 90s the house was built in the 70s . When I asked what housing did with the bah from the people living in old housing I was told they use it to pay off the housing they just built all over post. I was pissed my bah should go to MY HOUSE! Not anyone else's houses or to pay off officer housing. I have been to a lot of posts and I have never in my life seen such poor up keep in military housing.

Windows upstairs don't open-FIRE RISK... Mold in bathrooms from bad caulking is causing floors to lift and mold constantly. Housing says just use bleach...really? Every single one of my outlets sparks when I plug something in, and most are so bad they don't even hold a plug. House is impossible to keep cool in the summer and warm in the winter from how crappy and old the windows are...

I can see sunlight through the gaps in my windows and doors, the spider and any problem is out of control, and my Sheetrock is cracking from the foundation being off. The windows don't open because they have been painted 1000 times, and my floors slope.

Houses in Pierce desperately need upgrades, like carpeting or something other than these old ranky hospital-esk tiles. They are not worth the monthly BAH that is taken put for them That's for sure. Soldiers and families deserve so much more. I've seen barns nicer than these places.
