We, parents and guardians of students of Connecticut public schools, are pledging to remove our children from public schools to homeschool, if mask mandates are not lifted. Decisions that involve bodily autonomy of our children should be left up to the parents/guardians. The CDC has said that only N95 masks are effective in reducing transmission of Covid-19. Elevated levels of CO2 in the bloodstream can damage the immune system, causing our children to become more susceptible to Covid-19 and other illnesses.
