The virus is smaller than the weave of these masks. They do not help stop the spread of viruses. They do make kids breathe in waste and bacteria and they do psychological harm. Please do not force the children to wear masks.

My child is in 7th grade. The school does not have central air, air conditioning, or even fans. It is 90+ degrees in the classrooms. The heat coupled with the mask, my child has a hard time breathing. Sweats all day long, and has come home with headaches from the heat. When I pick him up he’s so thirsty because of what could be considered near heat stroke conditions. Masks should be a choice! If a parent is not comfortable with their child maskless then they have the right to mask them. Equally parents who don’t feel comfortable masking should have the right to make that decision for their child.

Please think this through reasonably. Our kids do not need to be wearing masks. They have been together and living normally all summer long without masks. We’ve proven they don’t need them.
