The latest CDC recommendation is that students K-12 wear a mask at school. There is no reason why healthy children in this state need to cover their faces with a mask! Our state has the highest vaccination rate in the nation. Masking our childrenis contradictory to the efficacy of the vaccine.
- Masks can be detrimental to children's health, making it difficult for kids to breathe. Wearing a mask also makes it tougher for children to socialize, learn and interact with their peers
- Parents should have the option whether they want their child to wear a mask or not.
- 83.7% of Vermonters 12+ have been vaccinated.
