NRCA students should not be forced to wear masks during the 2021-2022 school year. This should be a choice that is determined by the needs of individual families. This petition will be sent to Dr. Mathis to demand the unmasking of students at North Raleigh Christian Academy.

I am in second grade and I hate masks. Last year I got a rash from it and it really hurt. Please Don’t make us wear masks.
I am glad NRCA is honoring medical exemption letters but I do believe that all families deserve the right to choose whether they want their child to wear a mask. The masks are causing health and psychological problems for the children. The masks are doing more harm than good.
My daughter pulled her son from NRCA for this very reason! I helped her homeschool my grandson last year to avoid hours in a mask. We may have to continue if this is not changed.
Parents, at this point in the pandemic, are well aware of the risks associated with contracting Covid-19 and should be able to decide whether or not we mitigate those risks with masks or not.
Disappointed to have this news so late today when school starts Monday. This is one of the reasons we chose NRCA- because it stood out from the rest of the schools in our community and put family and faith first. As a family we should make health decisions for our children not our government.
Unconstitutional at the very least. If we don't say enough is enough then where will it stop? We don't live in China! Stand up to the communist controllers now before it is too late.
Everyone’s religion should be first priority. Mask should not be made mandatory this should be a choice!!

Agreed! But this petition should go to the county! If it were up to the school, the school would not enforce it. The full email they sent is that county guidelines said that we have to wear masks indoors AGAIN! So it’s not up to the school. It’s up to the county. This mask mandate is so stupid. Bring this petition not only to the School but to the COUNTY!!!!
