We, the undersigned members of the Palia community, would like to express our collective desire for more creative freedom in how we decorate and personalize our plots. Specifically, we are requesting the implementation of an official "Free Placement Mode" that allows players to:

• Float items above ground
• Sink items below ground
• Merge items seamlessly (e.g., placing objects partially inside others)
• Rotate and place items freely without grid snapping or collision restrictions
  (e.g., Rotate in a complete 360, tilt furniture/make it upside down)
• Free place buildings anywhere (e.g., merge buildings into each other, let us open rooms up to the outside)

Currently, many players achieve these effects through glitch-based methods. While we appreciate the creativity that these workarounds allow, relying on glitches comes with risks—like items becoming inaccessible, disappearing, or breaking after patches. We believe a built-in solution would not only support player creativity but also protect the integrity of builds and reduce support issues caused by accidental glitches.

Why this matters to us:
Palia is a game that thrives on cozy, creative expression. Giving players more control over item placement enhances immersion, storytelling, and personal connection to our plots. Whether it’s creating hidden gardens, functional furniture mashups, or aesthetic showcases, a Free Placement Mode would empower us to build in ways that truly feel like our own.
