"Unleash the True Beast – Release the Conan the Destroyer Extended Cut!"

We, the loyal fans of the Hyborian Age and classic sword & sorcery cinema, call upon Universal Pictures to release the Extended Cut of Conan the Destroyer (1984) — a version truer to its original vision.
For decades, we've heard whispers of a darker, longer cut of Conan the Destroyer — with deleted scenes, a grittier tone, and content that was removed to secure a lower rating. This includes never-before-seen moments such as a deleted love scene between Conan and Queen Taramis, restored violence, and potentially key plot material that was left on the cutting room floor.
As fans of Robert E. Howard’s creation and of Arnold Schwarzenegger’s iconic portrayal, we ask: why has this version never been released?
This is the era of restoring Original Cuts. From Zack Snyder’s Justice League to The Godfather Coda, Kingdom of Heaven: Director’s Cut, Rocky IV: Director’s Cut, and Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut, the audience has spoken:
Let the creator’s vision breathe — and let the fans experience the full story.
We want to see:
Deleted or altered scenes restored
A tone truer to the original 1982 Conan the Barbarian
The full vision as originally conceived by the creators
This is a chance to honor the legacy of a legendary character and give fans what they've been asking for over 40 years.
We respectfully ask Universal Pictures to:
Locate and restore the original extended footage
Release the film via Blu-ray, 4K UHD, digital, or streaming
Include commentary, behind-the-scenes, or documentary material if available
Let the world once again hear the clash of steel and the roar of the barbarian – as it was meant to be seen.
