Child support laws are actually unlawful. The system/program has been designed to collect money and not actually improve the lives of our children. This system dictates that if you can't or don't pay the amount randomly set by the judge you must go to jail. The support and assistance provided to the mothers is granted if there is no man in the home, not to mention the more children the more assistance will be given only if there again is no man living in the home. This is a paid tragedy that keeps families apart as well as the father and their children. There are several different views that need to be reviewed and offered to men trying, willing, and wanting to support their children, which will never happen with this system. This system will, lock-up the fathers, suspend their license, keep them in and out of court with court fee or even force them to obtain legal representation while will cost them as well.  Sadly, but true, the individuals who are able to pay, and pay most money are the individuals that get to keep their freedom and not go to jail, whether they care about their children or not.  We are individuals and should be acknowledged as such, and not like a system with a one size fits all program. While we are obligated and responsible for our children the government has put unlawful rules, guidelines, and laws in place to prevent us from giving what we have and doing what we can....They'd just rather punish us for what we don't have.
