I think 20 years is absolutely redelculess.and not cosindering that the guy used his ccw the right way and knowing that he almost lost his life before of a careless driver at fault.

We get bullied enough on the street . every time im on my bike i have a distracted driver taking my lane; or turning in front of me, or i always thought if i was a moto cop ide spend my career citing the cars and trucks for there inconsiderate driving with bikes and unsecured loads.

I know and understand my son did wrong. But in this case he was sentence on who he was hanging with and what he didn't share with police. All while dealing with the police they talking about they know about him and if he would just tell and he didn't and that's unjust!!!
They knew he saved his mother when he was seven, that he was a working guy that got caught up being with the wrong person. Something we all have done! It may not have lead to things but we've all did it. If he wasn't hanging with who he was and told police things. He would have never gotten sentence like that!!!

It’s a horrible feeling to know that defending yourself can cost u 20 yrs. of your life. What would u do if someone tried to run u over on a motorcycle while calling u racial slurs!

Not sure if these signatures will make a difference I truly hope they do 20 years first offense is outrageous but it sounds like they are out to get this kid for some reason very sad

20 years is far to extreme of a sentence for this young man especially if he was responding to an attack and also has a CCW

i was in the same situation as Terrance an the driver frustration got the better of them an ran me off the side of the road causing me to crash a motorcycle....a joyful ride turn traggic when a drive of a rolling cage gets pissed about something an your tje target of every driver on the road .....if i was in that situation again i would jave dune the same thing to protect my self like we were taught to do in life aswell as ccw class
