This petition goes about opening certain ports on the network allowing students to access online gaming protocols such as the following:

·         League of legends

·         Heroes of newerth

·         Call of duty Modern Warfare 3

·         Call of duty Modern Warfare 2

In this petition we aim to get enough signatures to convince the university to open the following ports:

·         Heroes of Newerth

o   Application: HEROOFN2 Port range: 11235 – 11335 Protocol: TCP/UDP (Gameservers)

·         League of Legends

o   Application: LGOFLS1 External port: 443 Internal port: 443 Protocol: TCP (HTTPS)

o   Application: LGOFLS2 External port: 2099 Internal port: 2099 Protocol: TCP (PVP.net)

o   Application: LGOFLS3 External port: 5222 Internal port: 5222 Protocol: TCP (PVP.net)

o   Application: LGOFLS4 External port: 5223 Internal port: 5223 Protocol: TCP (PVP.net)

o   Application: LGOFLS5 External port: 5000 - 5200 Internal Protocol: UDP  

      (LoL Game Client)

o   Application: LGOFLS6 External port: 8393 Internal port: 8393 Protocol: TCP (PVP.net/Maestro)

·         Call of duty Modern Warfare 3

o   Application: MW3 Port range: 27000 – 27030 Protocol: UPD

o   Application: MW3A External port: 3074 Internal port 3074 Protocol: TCP/UDP

o   Application: MW3B Port range: 27014 – 27050 Protocol: TCP

·         Call of duty Modern Warfare 2

o   Application: CODMW2 External port: 1500 Internal port: 1500 Protocol: UDP

o   Application: CODMW2A External port: 3005 Internal port: 3005 Protocol: UDP

o   Application: CODMW2B External port: 3101 Internal port: 3101 Protocol: UDP
