If they don’t open the car park at least put double yellow lines at the turning into Antrim Road as the school parking is dangerous and causes chaos

This applies near all schools shouldn’t schools have a suitable drop off point so parents don’t have to leave car parked.

As a cyclist it is a horrible time to cycle this area to get to work in the afternoon. Cars everywhere with engines running, unsafe for everyone. Giving parents this space would clear the roads and cycle layby of all the cars that obscure the veiw of anyone cycling or walking.

Current parking is dangerous and parents don't seem to care, blocking drives and parking on pavement. Parking wardens make no difference as they're seen so they go elsewhere and come back the next day!

There are so many near accidents, sadly it seems only a matter of time before a child is injured.

This is causing such a havoc to local residents. Is creating a lot of issues to neighbouring roads. At times we cannot even exit our driveways.

I live close to Highwood on the junction between Fairwater and Nightingale and the grass next to my house is an eyesore from cars parking on the verge and constantly churning up the mud. Cars parked here cause a danger to pedestrians and small children crossing the road.

This is so dangerous for people trying to drive down kingfisher and the children crossing the road walking to school. Cars are parked from as early as 2pm parked on both sides and the grass verge making visibility really poor as yiu came round the corner. Something needs to be dine before there's a bad accident.

The parking where we live in Carrick Gardens is awful. It is a safety hazard to pedestrians and other car users. Something has to change as the parking attendants just cause people to park in a unsafe way elsewhere where there are no yellow lines. One day someone will be killed and it will be all because they can’t park local to the school.
I think the car park on woodlands avenue is perfect for parking and local to the school. This will stop all of the dangerous parking we currently have to deal with.

I live in Carrick Gardens and often have my driveway blocked by parents of Highwood School.
My daughter has also had a few near misses with impatient drivers not looking where they are going.
Please it will be helpful to all parents.
