Stop hitting the low paid and start assisting them.

Far too many problems with this benefit, also having to pay to phone up the universal credit line is an absolute joke because who can afford to do this when you've not been paid anything. Not only that you never get the "problem" sorted over the phone first time or any feedback so find yourself having to ring numerous times. Being made to see a WC every week, who is paying the travel for this? If you don't attend you get sanctioned. It's a system where you are set up to fail - inhunabe and demoralising to people

This whole system is a sham. Degrading, unprofessional and difficult. It needs scrapping before it ruins hundreds more of other people's lives!

I am currently on maternity in my 5 th month and was told to apply for universal credit to help me out as i wouldnt be able to live off my smp wage once my bills were paid. They did not pay me for 2 months then when they finally did the payments were less and less this left me in debt and in rent arrears. I have a 5 month old son it is absaloutely shocking how they can do this to people
