We don't live in Bradley. Paying Monterey County property tax for boats (personal property) is not fair and should be illegal.

Having a Monterey County zip code for a San Luis Obispo County property has created problems/confusion for many years.
Correct sales tax (have to carry copy of property tax bill for proof), Personal Property tax, County Govt notices, Accurate County for Mailing Address, Safety and Emergency Services, etc.
A property ZIP CODE should accurately reflect its COUNTY LOCATION.
Time to fix this for the residents of SLO County whose mail uses a Monterey County zip code.

Lets keep things simple. Zip code should reflect the County where we pay taxes, apply for building permits, etc. This request is not unreasonable and makes common sense.

Not unreasonable considering the situation that we do not reside in Monterey County.

Oak Park, of Ventura County, had a very similar situation years ago. Their zip code was the same as Agoura Hills, L.A. County. They had many police, fire and medical emergency problems. It was finally resolved and Oak Park experienced far better community services in a prompt time. This change seems small, but is quite necessary to provide emergency services in a timely manor.
