How can the adoptive parents keep the baby now? Something inhuman if they do.

Don't waste more time, give these parents THEIR child back now.

Regardless of the length of time that the adoption happened, it was due to an illegal taking of the baby. If this child had been stolen by a person instead of the State, it would be immediately returned to the birth parents. This should be done asap to lessen the trauma to the child and give it a chance to grow up with the birth parents.

This couple has done nothing wrong and they need their child back.

My heart cries out for these poor parents and their precious little one, who have been so evilly treated by the UK's iniquitous Social Services and Family Courts! The terrible reason underlying all such pernicious interference by the Social 'Services' and their equally vile legal cohorts in the secret 'Family' Courts (with the collusion of our brainwashed police force, perfidious state school teachers, and unethical medical doctors) into the sanctity and privacy of parents and their families is the deliberate agenda by Western Governments to replace God-ordained parental authority with God-less totalitarian State authority over children. May the eyes of all these self-righteous useful idiots be opened that they may understand that their attempts to steal or kidnap a child from its parents is an abomination in God's sight, and that, far from protecting children, they are doing all these little ones great and lasting harm.

As the world watches on such an absolutely devastating predicament this couple have been put through and the media sources constantly stating it is virtually impossible for the biological child to be returned to it's biological parents due to "uprooting" situation. Why has not anyone thought of a period of time where both the adoptive and biological parents have joint custody starting as little as 1 day and progressively moving to 7 days (full time care) within a set period of time, for example a few months to a year. Slowly transitioning the child to it's respective and biological parents. The parents did have earlier contact with the child so perhaps the child has memory of it's parents; the touch, warmth or even the pitch of voice, providing a natural comfort. So uprooting it would not be. It is well known and most likely documented (if proof could be found) that toddlers and small infants adapt well to change of environment and care takers. It is far easier to uproot a small child than a school aged child or teenager. Think of the ramifications in this electronic world should this child continue to be raised by the adoptive parents and eventually coming across on their own recourse that they were "that child" that was wrongfully removed away from it's biological parents and forced into adoption when at an early age they could have been placed back into it's biological parents hands. This child through assumption could end up becoming so resentful of the justice system or it's adoptive parents (for why they did not give him back to it's true parents) may result in delinquent behaviour. And other unexpected and devastating behaviours. The child should be placed back into it's biological parents hands. A couple of years is such a small amount of time to base the “uprooting welfare issue” on. The parents can still establish a relationship as parents would with their small child. It is possible. We are horrified by this story that we live in a society where a parent has no control over their own child. we believe you have the right to accuse the people who have put in you this situation of abusing you. The law must be changed and those who have made this miscarriage of justice should be accountable.

Heartbreakingly awful story The high handed arrogance of these so-called professionals, who made the decision to adopt this couples baby, is absolutely staggering It raises serious questions for parents, who need to seek medical help for a sick child with worrying symptoms, could the outcome be that they find they are treated like criminals and even have their own child taken away from them? Seems like one needs 'safeguarding' from the safeguarders

How can any society agree with a law that supports a child being taken away for life from innocent parents.

I have emailed Surrey cc directly to instruct them to return the child to mother and father forthwith. The people who now believe they are the mother and father of this child, should now at once return the child to its biological parents. If I was the the adoptive mother or father of a child acquired in these circumstances, no matter how desperate to have my own child, and for those feeling alone, I would voluntary return the child myself. I could not live with the guilt of holding a child of someone else's after knowing that parents did not give the child up for their own reasons. No way! The child was snatched. And in my eyes, it is illegally.

This is horrendous how can this be allowed to happen in a supposedly free country. There is no justification for this adoption not to be overturned the state cannot be allowed to steal children from loving parents and then criticise countries where the rights of citizens are not respected.

Karrissa Cox and Richard Carter have spent 3 years in hell through no fault of their own. The system has failed them shamefully in not only taking so long, but also for arranging for the child's adoption before a decision was made. Please return their child to them and amend the law that prevents adoption before the conclusion of similar cases.
