Teachers have the right to have the salary as promised by the so called governments for 24 years . By their choice or not they become teachers in Sri Lankan government schools for a very low salary. If they didnt choose that profession for such a low salary who will do it for your children ? Do everyone has the ability to go for tution classes? No right. They do not have any other welfare funds like other government office people have. No overtime. No Transportation Medical or Meal allowances. No fancy office rooms with the facilities. Please give their rights if not think how many voters the governments gonna loose. It is not just the teachers or principles .
