We at SaveUnionreservoir.org want to force JM Smuckers to install a heavily landscaped berm on the North and East side of their new production plant on the South side of Union Reservoir. The visual impact of this new facility is dramatic and will affect everyone who uses Union Reservoir. JM Smuckers received close to $9 million in incentives from the City of Longmont and Weld county and we feel a portion of this should be allocated to preserve the natural beauty of Union Reservoir.
