Final supporters
The events of January 31st at Union High School show a need for improved security and communication strategies.
As a community of parents, former and current students, community members and advocates we strongly urge the Union Public Schools administration, Union Police Department leadership and other first responders to organize a community meeting to discuss security protocols and communication strategies so we can do better when faced with a potential crisis threatening the safety of our children, faculty and staff. Any appropriate outcomes of such meeting(s) will need to be shared with parents, students, and other stakeholders.

Too many incidents lately. Need actual security changes instead of just ignoring the problems
The lack of info during lock downs is just unacceptable. We deserve to know whats going on when our kids are in danger
Get the administration in a room with us. Enough is enough.
Our safety is more important than waiting for something worse to occur, then taking action
Let’s have a clear outline on best practices and what parents should expect in times of crisis.
Please protect our children, educators and staff.
