We feel that the investigation into the Live Baiting scandal in Queensland Greyhound Racing being conducted by Detective Sergeant Tracey Pelling of the Queensland Police has been compromised because of statements made by Pelling in the Courier Mail newspaper dated May 02, 2015. These statements are being used unfairly by anti racing people to strengthen their cause, and the investigation hasn't even concluded. To keep the investigation unbiased, it would be fairer if the investigation was conducted by a neutral team, as it is felt that Pellings biased views on the industry could lead to unfair prosecutions and tar the industry and participants unfairly. Allow the investigation to proceed fairly, and prosecute those who are giving the industry a bad name without biased statements being published to the press.
