all the students in microeletroncs track cannot get any scholarship in the next two years. And this is one more nightmare for us. You can increase that much for coming students when you mention, but for us, it is unfair and a kind of cheating.

This is a bizarre step taken by the authorities of TU Delft. It was mentioned in the admit letter that the fees might hike by 2 percent . But such increment of 10 percent is unfair.

It is unfair that it was decided to raise the fees by 1500 Euros when it was mentioned that it would only be raised by 2%. Many of us have taken a calculated loan from the bank for our education and such a drastic rise would make it difficult to acquire such a large sum. We would be grateful if you reconsider the decision, and keep the original decision of a 2% increase standing.

A hike of nearly 10% is a massive blow to the students since most of us come here on very tight budgets that have been planned and funds arranged before hand.

This is too much hike. The bank won't agree to give the extra money !!! We were informed of atmost 2% hike..... But this is almost 10%!!!!

I feel this hike in fees is highly uncalled for, especially when it was specifically stated that the fee would only be hiked by around 2%. Moreover the fee for international non-eu students is already really high as compared to non-eu or locals. This would also create problems for many of us to arrange the extra fees. I would be disappointed if the fee is hiked.

This is unfair. It was specified that the hike would be 2%. If this is going to happen for the forthcoming batches, Delft is going to lose its charm pretty soon. I already have a huge student loan against the amount with mentioned 2% hike. If at all this hike had to be imposed, we demand additional benefits/job placement security/monthly living allowances or something of the kind for us to be able to manage the expenses.
