Most developed countries have underground utilities, because it is the safest and cheapest solution in the long run.
PG&E is not interested in changing the current situation because they are getting paid for maintaining the above ground infrastructure but have been skimping on actually doing the work. If they had to pay the actual cost then the wires would go underground very fast.

Our home at 135 Crescent already has underground electric from pole to our meter, but the real source of electric fire are the pole to pole wires. These need to be undergrounded as well.

Overhead wires have no place on Christmas Tree Hill. We need to underground them for all of our safety.

We went underground pole to house in 1973 when we built this house. We feel this study is long overdue.

I am in full support of underground I g power lines and am prepared to further support a bond measure that raises money for such a fire preventive measure.

it is critical in this age of climate change and fire risks to try to do everything to make our community safer. A comprehensive study on undergrounding is needed now.

Our power lines went underground when we lived on green street in San Francisco.
Each home paid $10k to $12k per home abd there was a low interest loam program to help the homeowners.
Our neighbors were delighted to have this happen.
