The state legislature continues to ignore the culture that defines this place. I am tired of seeing our heritage sidelined by bureaucrats who refuse to acknowledge a song that actually speaks to the beauty of our home.

I think it should be the state anthem. The song mentions all the great things about TN and makes you want to go there. Beautiful song about a beautiful state.
This should be the state song! And it should be used for tourism purposes/commercials. The words to this song are so descriptive that it makes you feel like you are there or makes you want to be there. I have never heard such a beautifully written song. It's not a song that just mentions Tennessee, it IS Tennessee!

We can all relate to this beautiful song, from Memphis to Bristol we all love living "Under Tennessee Moon"!
