I have attended pieta house, and I know how hard it is to say things to your parents. I think it would be helpful for teenagers to be able to talk to a therapist and find out how to help themselves without parental permission.

There are many people under the age of 18 whose parents may not be supportive of them receiving help, or who may be the cause for distress. It is important that everyone has access to these facilities.

I really really agree that people under the age of 18 should be allowed to seek help without a parent or guardians permission because it's true what they say about "parents not being supportive" and "parents being the cause", young people need this service to protect their mental health to the full extent.

Everyone should be able to get help without anyone's permission no matter how old you are.

I find this fact a very disturbing thought as many people would prefer not to share with others, their mental health. This is something that should be taken seriously and not taken for granted.
