What is an unconditional basic income? This is guaranteed by the State Constitution and monthly income that is provided by the same amount every adult Bulgarians living in the Republic of Bulgaria, to support its independent and free existence.
On 14. January 2013. European Commission adopted our European Citizens' Initiative, which began a year-long campaign, including all European Union countries.
To 14. January 2014. Should reach 500 million people in the European Union and to gather one million signatures to show support with a minimum quota of at least seven members. For 15 Member States participating in the initiative.
If you collect one million signatures to show support for basic income of the 500 million citizens of the European Union, the European Commission will have to examine carefully the initiative and held a public hearing in the European Parliament.
