Playing games and hanging out on chatting platforms is always a fun way to spend free time after finishing work, but admin see it as a distraction and block it on an district level, blocking it for everyone regardless of the environment. This is unfair and I want to change that. If this petition gets a thousand signatures I will try contacting the admin about this. Seeing the numbers creep up honestly makes me so hyped because we are almost at a hundred signatures which is just wild to me. If everyone reading this just grabs one other person from their lunch table to sign right now we will hit that first milestone before the next period starts.

Blocking spotify on the Chromebooks would make people start using phones, which would give us more trouble in the long run.
exactly i need chess in my life. i dont understand why they blocked profile pictures, wallpapers, and all those stuff bc SOMEONE was stupid enough to be inappropriate, why cant they just block it for those few people?
That why go guardian exists, teachers can block potentially distracting sites in their class period and then they can remove the block when needed. We don't need admin blocking distracting sites, just the teachers.

I want YouTube shorts unblocked because I often need to use short videos to put into my school projects. I like to play chess because it helps me improve my skills and prepares me for chess UIL.

I understand some people use sites when they're not supposed to, but that doesn't mean they should be blocked for everybody. And when you blocked Spotify, that was the last straw. Some people focus better when listening to music, it you just took that away from them. Thank you for reading- Vona R
