The LSr7 School District has blocked Spotify web player on the Chromebooks. Spotify is a music outlet that gives people access to all different types of music and artists. The LSr7 School District has blocked this musical resource and needs to unblock it because students use this 'app' when writing, studying, or doing other projects especially when they are at home. Spotify is no more of a distraction than YouTube or any other music website... so unblock Spotify!

I have been hearing from so many of you who find it impossible to focus on schoolwork in total silence. I am currently putting together a formal request for the district office to explain why this specific site is restricted while other media platforms remain accessible.

Seeing this level of support confirms that I am not the only one struggling to focus on my schoolwork without my music. It feels incredible to know so many of my classmates agree that we deserve better access to the tools that help us study.

school wifi is literally trash for blocking this, spotify is essential for getting through the day
bruh just let us listen to music while we work like what is the actual point of blocking it
music actually helps me focus on my essays though, why do they have to make everything so boring for us?

All we want is to unblock Spotify! They already blocked EVERYTHNG, so just Spotify would be awesome. I don't think they understand that, I actually do better with music then without.Honestly music motivates me to study and do homework, without it I wouldn't definitely not do for school what I do now. All we want is to unblock it!
