Why Are Lyric Websites blocked!!!!!! Chorus people need to look up lyrics for the Vocal Class

I Have Sent this to the school.May I first start out with I am sorry if I am addressing this to the wrong person. But I feel that the School Filter system has gone too far. I understand you idea to have social media disabled in the school. However I feel go as far as to block things such as Vox.com and CNN.com is a little far see as how many of your students use these sites for research. I also feel blocking things such as Pandora is a little far as well due to the fact that many kids like to listen to music while working and it actually helps kids work better as well as stay quieter while working in class. Also blocking these sites will not stop us from finding ways to log onto them. We will always find ways around your filter if it is one student or a group. I as a student am not the only one that is upset about this matter, I know for a fact that there is even a petition going around for this matter. I will remain anonymous as well as the rest of my group but I feel there should be some change in our system. Thank you for taking to the time to read my email and I hope we can work something out here.

Music helps keep me concentrated on my work without background noise.I could see block inappropriate websites, but Pandora?

You can't block certain sites and key words. Certain key words that are blocked make it so you can't read news articles or do research.

Yea I also agree i have never seen anything wrong with grooveshark it gave us more options to our music.
