Using the toilet is a basic human need. Disgusting that they are being refused the need to relieve themselves

Well done those who have stood their ground on this and wanting things changed. You should be proud of yourself!

Former student at Parkside here, did you know that holding your urine for too long can weaken the bladder muscles over time. This can lead to problems such as incontinence and not being able to fully empty your bladder. Holding your urine for extremely long periods of time can also cause urinary tract infections due to bacteria build-up. Kidney and back problems. Stress incontinence can be found amongst teenagers as well as young children. As a former student who was undiagnosed with autism at the time, I never went to the toilets during breaktime because it was to busy at breaktime and busy means bullies. I couldn't imagine having to put up with what the students are expected to put up with these days. Education is important yes but it is not more important than health. Students, deserve to learn in an environment that cares about their health. Not their level of obedience in a ridiculous situation. The toilet ban needs to stop ASAP.
