With the release of Oath of Gatewatch, the card Splinter Twin was banned for reasons that are not justified. If you agree that Splinter Twin was unjustly banned, please sign this petition by including your DCI name and DCI number.

Updates

November 11, 2016

I have spent the last few nights looking over old deck lists and remembering how much life this card brought to the format. It is hard to watch the modern meta settle into such a stagnant state when we know exactly what is missing.

November 11, 2016

Seeing this community rally around the card that defined my favorite era of modern magic fills me with hope. The momentum proves I am not the only one who misses the strategy and depth that deck brought to the table.

The format has changed and keeping twin banned is a matter of not having enough balls to let it go and see how it does, and then admit you where wrong if It doesn't work.

Splinter Twin's banning was a mistake because Splinter Twin stopped unfairly fast decks from being consistently played. Now Eldrazi dominate the format in an unhealthy way.

Wizards just wanted to sell more BFZ packs. Twin was the glue holding modern together and now the meta is just a total mess.
