IBuyPower aka "IBP" were a North American Counter-Strike team. It was formed by Joshua "Steel" Nissan, Sam "Dazed" Marine, Braxton "Swag" Pierce, Keven "Azk" Lariviere and Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham. This 5 individuals were considered the best "NA" team. Unlucky for 4 of the members excluding "Skadoodle" they received a BAN for fixing a match in Season 5 of CEVO´s Professional League against NetCodeGuides.com . This "Throw" was punished by creator of "CSGO" Valve, they informed the world that these 4 players would not be able to participate in any Valve events.

It´s been a year since "IBP" were punished and these careers where shattered. Sam Marine "Dazed" was able to be a analyst for ESL and was a great feeling for the community to see such player back in the competitive scene. Its hard to see such a good team go down this way.

Dota 2 team "RoX.KIS" where banned for 12 months for doing the exact same thing that "IBP" has done. They fixed a match in Star Ladder. Player "Solo" was first banned for ever (LifeTime) for betting illegally against his team in such match. Later on he confessed of his error and his ban was reduced to a 1 year ban. He now plays for Virtus.Pro aka "VP".

This stands out as an example that "IBP" players still have a chance, we all miss them, if Dota 2 players are able to be unbanned, why can´t Counter-Strike players? This is not my point of view, i believe that many others have such point of view and i know for a fact that if we all come together and help these members of our community, we can change the present and have a better tomorrowti. Not only for ourselves, the viewers of these competitive scenes but por them. Everyone deserves a second chance.
