I use the youth passes every month. And I use the bus probably 20 days a month.

Your changes to the fare structure are unfair!! They target the working poor, and now that the provincial disabled bus pass has been clawed back by the province, the disabled as well. Stop gouging the poor!! Fare changes should NOT create more hardships for poor and marginalized people!

I'm still in high school, I work part time and go to school full time and live by myself, Raising the prices on bus fares for youth is ridiculous and effects everyone.

My son is losing $30 a month because of these changes, $ he can ill afford to lose. Bus transit should be free.

BC Transit, I am always an active person in your requests for public opinion and the future of BC transit because 1.) I am a person who heavily relies on busses for transportation 2.) I have friends who are bus drivers and understand the importance of raising rates and protecting them while on the job. However, I have my L now and am working on getting my full license. Why? BC transit is becoming more of a cash cow and not considering the fact that the majority of the people who utilize busses in the greater Victoria area are people who do not have a lot of money, much like myself. I don't have $85/month spare for a bus pass every month because the cost of living in Victoria is so ridiculously high. I use to be able to make bus tickets stretch almost a month, thanks to the use of transfers. Now, my bus tickets are only going to give me 5 trips out of a month, even if I'm only going one way to the ferry or elsewhere. You're going to rapidly loose customers and have increasingly more angry customers when tourist season hits because even in Vancouver with such an awesome transit system, they do not rip people off just to get to one destination. I know I'm not the only one when I say this, but I'm highly disappointed in your crap decision to get rid of transfers, the youth pass and youth/senior tickets. Thankfully (thanks to BC transit), I'll have my full license soon and won't need to deal with you guys crap decisions anymore, but not everyone has that luxury!!!

BC transit you say you want to encourage people to take the bus yet you keep making the prices HIGHER, where is the logic in that?

This is ridiculous. For a transit system that isn't even on time majority of the time, it's even more so. Now it will be extremely hard to be able to afford to even go out.

Do not remove the youth pass. Students who need to use public transit to get to and from school should not be penalized. Parents will simply resort to driving students and increase traffic. Check how many students are at bus stops after school.

This is so wrong especially because the people who travel quite often on these are broke student, and they won't be able to afford these changed

The bus system is in place as a way as affordable transportation, NOT a money making opportunity. Lets keep it that way.

This is unfair to families and people who need to take the bus to get to their destination across the city.
