I live in the Republic of Ireland and am not allowed to order nail polish from the UK from Indie Makers or from Amazon, as nail polish cannot be sent via Royal Mail overseas. However if I lived in Northern Ireland, I would be allowed to order from the UK. I understand that Northern Ireland is part of the UK, and Éire isn't, however, the nail polish would still have to travel over the same sea, the Irish Sea, to reach Northern Ireland, so what is the difference? Please explain how shipping to Northern Ireland is not deemed dangerous, but shipping to the Republic is??

It should be possible to ship at least small amounts of nail polish ouside of the UK since it seems to be allowed to ship it into the UK. This seems ludacris/rediculous!

I would love to support UK indie nail polish businesses from the United States. Please research your assumption of nail polish being a dangerous substance and reconsider your policy. You are hurting small business owners in the UK, many of whom are women. I completely understand the need for caution regarding the safety of air transport workers, I know, in this case, nail polish has been misclassified as dangerous. Thankyou

If I can get a nail polish flown in from the USA or Australia, I don't see a reason for this restriction in the UK.

I am signing this petition because as a part of the jail art community I see many independent nail polish makers who I would LOVE to support.. some of the most amazing independent nail polish makers are in the UK and being here in the USA I am not able to support them due to restrictions.
