Electoral reform is change in electoral systems to improve how public desires are expressed in election results.

With the recent electoral results it marks a drastic requirement for an electoral reform.

Labour: approx 30% over 200 seats

UKIP: 12.5%. 1 Seat

SNP & Lib dem: 12% 64 seats

These numbers are approx but can you honestly say that the "First past the post" is a suitable election system.

The feedback I keep receiving proves that many of you feel just as cheated by these results as I do. I am currently reaching out to political analysts to build a stronger case for why our current system fails to represent the actual will of the people.

Seeing this conversation grow keeps me hopeful that we can finally move past a broken system. I never thought so many people would resonate with this fight for fairness.

Hugely overdue. I see no advantage in a majority govt or a coalition that gives a majority.

My vote disappeared in a safe tory seat. I have no representation here. PR is the only way forward for democracy.

This surely unfair. Ukip did just as well in this election as did Scotland. But ukip only got 1 seat. Very unfair and fixed

PR is just as bad as FPTP. There is a new system that avoids the problems of both. Read here http://www.democraticrepublicanparty.co.uk/DRP%20NEWSLETTER/NEWSLETTER%20No%20147%20website.html
