Guards/Bouncers/Security should be employed protect the university community, not be part of the problem when a section of the community has unresolved issues with the other(s).

Its getting out of hand this thing of bouncers

We can’t fear our lives in a school that’s supposed to be a safe environment. How does a security guard beat a graduate in front of their families. That happened in apartheid now it’s in our schools.

Violent and disregard human rights

Bouncers must leave our institution.

Bouncers must go..we are sick and tired of them

Surely these bouncers have itchy hands... Wherever they are, they clap students like no ones business. Go to GOG, go to any protest, any match, any other gathering of students... Bouncers arrive there with violence. I don't know if that's what they are paid to do, to protect the institution against us. Lately, Moho Phasoane Mphahlele was brutally abused by bouncers on his graduation day, just because he wrote something about UJ on facebook, he couldn't even graduate. Tarnished, tortured, Socially paralyzed, and physically hospitalised. Truly, bounces must go.
