SRC2017/18 MUSTFALL!

We as concerned students and clients of the UFS Qwaqwa campus have come to a conclusion that we dont feel any form of representation by the current SRC. What pains us the most is that our rights as clients of this campus are continuously suppressed by the Management at the presence of the SRC. We also realize that any oppressive decision taken by the management towards us, the students is not challenged by the SRC in a radical and effective manner instead the SRC translates what the management presents to us whether it benefits us or not.

We therefore urge the UFSQQ IEA (Independant Electoral Agency) to intervene in this petition when a majority of student signatures is achieved. The IEA Shall intervene through declaring the SRC as illegitimate to function since the majority of students would have removed it out of office democratically through this petition.

This petition is guided and supported by Section 17 of the 1996 Constitution ACT 108.
