flexibility around working hours would be useful - also would allow us to spend spare time in the evenings doing practical work, especially before hand-ins!

This would be really useful - if the times could mirror the times that UCS makes other learning resources available that would be great.

through first and second year the facilities allowed me to work on my theory for essay and sketch books as well as shooting during the day and then spend 2 nights a week in the darkroom getting my printing and editing done. Now I feel limited due to facilities being closed. It seems that im paying all this money for my course and my time in the darkrooms and fushion lab is being restricted without reason.

It is important to have the facilities open beyond the current 5pm (4.30 on fridays). Many of the students of the photographic course have disabilities such as dyslexia (I personally suffer from this condition) that slows our work down. Spending enough time in library in order to write our dissertations goes against the time needed in the labs to produce our photographic work. The labs and darkrooms are used during the day by the other year groups that can slow our own work down if the facilities are not accessible. Therefore it is imperative that the facilities are available to us beyond the 5pm closing time to allow us to continue our work. All year groups for the last 4 years have made good use of the late night openings and yet we are now being hindered with our work. I know of 4 other universities that offer photography courses and their facilities are open until 10pm every night and some weekends as well.

Having the facilities open during the evening is essential for those who work, or need more time to do their projects, especially those of us who are doing their degree projects!

Late night opening was a normal part of years 1 and 2. To have it removed this year is a degradation of the services that were lauded previously by teaching staff as being a differentiator to other university cources.

Late night openings of the facilities would be helpful as I work from 2:30 till 6. I know this would benefit others who have jobs during the day and those with children.

With my work schedule having the facilities open later would be a god send! Having to be called in to cover an afternoons work 1-6 means I can't always get to certain facilities.

Later opening times means that we can use the facilities that are available to us which might be busy during the normal hours
Please keep arts facilities open same time as the library
Would be a benefit those who may live further away.
Surely it's a good thing for students to able to work late
